針對微軟即將發佈Internet Explorer(IE) 10.0，其中「禁止追蹤(Do Not Track, DNT)」將成為預設功能。站在Mozilla 的立場，我們對微軟支持DNT的舉動表達讚賞，回想Firefox 一年前還是唯一支援DNT 的瀏覽器供應商，現在看到微軟一起將重心放在DNT上，此舉將再為使用者隱私更掀話題和重視度。我們期待聽到微軟在DNT及設為預設功能的細節，以及看到DNT之後在W3C標準化的制定。
“We appreciate seeing Microsoft putting its full weight behind supporting DNT, especially given Firefox was the lone browser supporting DNT just one year ago. This will make DNT more mainstream and bring more attention to the important issue of user control. We look forward to hearing from Microsoft the full details behind the new default implementation for DNT, as well as the implications for the future of the standards work within the W3C."
